  • aftermarket pistons for 3100

    i need aftermarket pistons for the 3100, i cant find any, have been searching for days, i want at least some good hyperutectics, id love to have forged, but i cant find any for a decent price... the only ones iv found id have to custom order

    Umm Sealed power pistons aka Federal Mogul... Affordable Hyperutectics and teflon side skirt coating.



    The part numbers varry by overbore... mine I have are H847CP75MM

    $26 a slug... not too shabby

            i figure im just going to spend the 1000 on Ross pistons, have the wrist pin size be the same as a small block chevy and use some small journal eagle h beams so i can utilize full floating pins...

              Whats the benefit to full floating pins over our pressed in ones?

              And will Eagle H beams be the proper length?

                the rods are the same length as a small black chevy and full floating wrist pins are purly for performance and rotating friction reduction
