    3400 all the way, its the cheapest bang for the buck and its a better starting point for a build than the 3.1

    not sure how well the 3.1s handle boost, i would imagine 8psi would be just fine on both engines with stock bottom end. and tune

    im sure there are a few of the turbo guys that will chime in with more information

    Out of curiosity, would I be better off building the stock 3.1 or just swapping in a 3400 with a mild cam? And if I was to turbo it, which engine would handle boost better?

    1393 is good for all around. midramge cam but the power smoothly starts showing up at about 4k (my tires break loose in 2nd at 4k, roll)

    no complaints at all for low end power. you would need a tune

    3400 Cam Upgrade?

    What would be a good cam upgrade for a 3400? Car is my daily, looking for something mild, but a little more power from stock. I'm running the stock computer. Car is a 93 Lumina 3.1. Thanks.
