can i use the cam from a 3800 in a 3400 and if so would there be a performance "boost". would i have to reflash the computer and if so where do i start? i'm trying to find this stuff but?????????

No, that will not work. Only cam you can swap in for a performance boost can be found from the WOT-TECH store here, or from milzy motorsports but I suggest getting a cam from here.SpudFiles

my cam has broken in half and i need a replacement so i figured if i was already there i would go ahead and get the real deal but i have never droven this car i got it not running so anything would be great these v6's scream as it is but i cant really afford a $350ish cam right now. i was hoping that someone has one the upgraded from like a upgrade from factory that they "outgrew".Comment

Well you may find a used cam off the site. But there were no "Performance" factory cams.1993 EXT. CAB, 3.4L V6 TBI, 5spd manual. Sonoma

You will need to replace your cam bearings if you cam broke, and find out why the cam broke. (lack of oil, or coolant in the oil)sigpic
