I have a stalled forged build on here somewhere but that's the reason the crank grind is the problem because everything else had already been purchased. My forged LS1 pistons came complete with rings, locks and pins at a steal of a price on ebay at less than $400 which I'm sure is half of what a custom set would run me let alone the down time, it would also defeat the purpose as my intent was to use off the shelf parts plus needed machining accomodations.
