  • 2.8 tbi to mpfi ?'s

    1 how hard is it?
2 what all do i need im gona have a 2.8 firebird and i bout it for this reason, or is it gona be easier to build the mpfi motor, if so what do i need to keep to do the swap?

Aside the intake manifold and fuel delivery systems and probably a crank sensor, the engines are pactically identical.

It would be easier to just pull the mpfi motor and wiring harness and swap it in place of the tbi engine.
Obviously you have to do some adapting, like fuel system lines and getting the MPFI's harness to work with your s10

More cutting and splicing than anything else

Wont need a crank sensor for the RWD MPFI motor. It just uses a distributor.
