Does anyone have the length of the 3.9L LZ9 and LZG Head and Main Bolt Lengths?

When I get home I'll send you the measurements I have along with the recommended kit per ARP based on my conversation with them when I looked into head studs. I would have had them on my motor but Sappy was out of town when I placed the order and by the time I got through researching and reading up on MLS head gaskets and torque to yield bolts decided they wouldn't be necessary for my power goals.

One thing I'd like to do is address any length short comings that I have read about when installing main studs and head bolts. Mainly shunning the mains with washers.

In this case if you have good measurements I'll see if I can get the studs rolled at a reasonable price.

Head measurements for studs.
Head bolt hole thickness 3.356”.
Recessed threads in deck bolt holes .169
Depth of hole in deck 1.483
Depth bolt goes to in hole 1.403
Bolt threads start .078 from bolt tip

Here is information that I found on the forum, I believe they are from the VW application;


Main stud info for all 60 degree V6 engines. (ARP)


8 - Studs (11mm X 1.5 & 7/16" - 20) - ATP4.65L or Undercut Short studs (11mm x 1.5 & 7/16" - 20) - ATP4.650LU
8 - Hex Nuts (7/16" - 20) - APN58 or 12 point nuts (7/16" - 20) - APN12-1
8 - Washers (7/16 ID 13/16 OD) - APW1316N

Head stud kit that works in this application:
ARP#204-4701 10pcs studs, washers, nuts

Head studs recommended by ARP based on the measurements I posted earlier.
ARP 208-5401 10 per box
