Doing a little DD2K work right now.

What is your guess on the efficiency of this bad boy?

Vey efficient. The blower rpm range is 3600 rpm to 12500 rpm , its optomum port speed is 8750.

Overdriving the unit 60% would yield 8,800 supercharger output speed @ 5500 RPM. At this rpm and overdrive the blower is 93.7% effecient. The reason? Aircraft quality extruded billet aluminum case hard anodized and billet extruded straight 3 lobe rotors. Fageol superchargers are high effeciency.

Just some fyi I did some wot runs in december 03 on mine and after coming home the blower was still cool to the touch. Of course mine is sheilded by aluminum stock.

BTW Im going to call Mark and see if he is finished putting the order together. Its taking longer than I anticipated but they are coming , I paid in full a month ago .

That link has the efficency numbers

Richard Parson - do you have a dyno sheet to back those numbers up?

                Ok an for calculating CFM?

                This blower is a 61.2 cu.in. blower

that equates to 0.035417 cu.ft in one revolution

So what is DD2K looking for in terms of CFM?

Streets - what sort of power figures can we expect with the SC on a 3.4? I'm a bit concerned that it might run out of breath at higher RPMs. Fageol's website says that their superchargers are for up to 3.0 liters. Will it provide adequate CFm for a good breathing 3.4?

Hey, I have been getting the run around sadly. Like I said I paid in full in december and keep getting told there not done yet. I can only hope the kits are "finished" within the next week.

Id be very interested in one if it can work w/ a 3100. I was thinking about the RSM one but dont know too much about them. The pros and cons that is. Can it work w/ a 3100 in a 03 Grand Prix? What will priceing be?
