I looked in GMPARTSDIRECT for a roller camshaft. They have one measuring around 204 degrees. What do you guys think of this. The price seems right. Could I bump this up with high ratio roller rockers. I am wondering what would happen if I ran a 1.85 instead of the stock 1.6? Is this possible? Also how would I go about milling my head to run that Stage II Milzy camshaft? Would I have to shim it or go the other way and grind it down? Any help would be appreciated.

Im pretty sure that is just the stock cam for a 3X00. I know GM has other cams for the 660 but they are all flat tappet cams.
To date I would not even consider Milzy's cams because they have no damn specs. Who the hell knows what you are getting.1993 EXT. CAB, 3.4L V6 TBI, 5spd manual. Sonoma

Yes I looked at their site and they say stage 1 or 2 but no specs. So far unless something has changed in the last 3 months no one makes a roller cam replacement for the 3x00. A regrind is your only option.I had mine reground and the specs are 272 lift with a 215 duration at the cam. using a 1.6 rocker that equates to 439 at the cam. with 1.7 its 462 and with 1.8 its 489.695 Beretta Z-26

I'm curious why you wouldn't even consider his cam? I'm runnin' 13.991 using his cam and heads, HPTuners and full exhaust (all for around 5000; how much is a blower???), and there are a few others who are runnin' pretty good times. I'm also running stock weight and All Season radials.
I can't believe people are still sceptical, but that's your opinion, which I can't argue.
I would recommend the cam, but I'm really nobody, just a consumer.

Because not everyone is after a motor that can rev to 7500 and not everyone can install a cam thats too agressive because of emissions and drivability concerns. That is the info you get. WTF is that shit. What is the basic operating range, lift, duration, overlap, intake center, valve spring and compression ratio recommendations.This cam was designed to match our Stage 2 Heads. This combination will run on a stock pcm, but we highly suggest upgrading to an aftermarket tuned PCM to get the most out of the setup. Look for gains of 50hp or more from these parts when combined with the appropriate supporting mods. You MUST use stage 2 heads with this cam, as the cam lift is too high for stock heads.

Well, I'm not revin' to 7500, just that I can with the head work. I'm shifting around 6800. He makes a stage I cam if this is too aggressive. Driveablity is surprisingly good.
I think he just has to update the site. I think originally, it wasn't posted as he was still in the design phase. Exactly. Raven runs boost so his concern between 2 cams with the otherwise same duration is going to be LSA and IC so he can build cylinder pressure. For a guy towing a trailer he might want a narrow LSA and a short duration with a high lift so he has max torque right in the low RPM range so he can stay in 5th up a hill or run a low stall converter and keep that baby locked on the highway.
I know he probabally has the specs on the cams somewhere. But IMO that should have been the first set on information on the camshaft page.
Same with the heads. How much lift can they take? What do they flow? What is the open, closed and install height of the springs on them? Maybe I already have a custon high lift cam and I am in the market for some heads. How am I suposed to buy compatible heads when there is no specs on them?

I have e-mailed Milzy and got the following specs so I think I will share.
Stage 1 NA - .305/.308 lobe lift (.488/.493 valve lift),
209.4/213.1 duration,
110 LSA, 108.1 IC
Stage 2 NA - .347/.349 lobe lift (.556/.559 valve lift),
222.1/225.7 duration,
110 LSA, 106 IC
Also 3x3 on the GAGT forum had a cam done from cammotion, before Milzy started selling them.
