None that I am aware of, but I have seen them shred to pieces

      Someone do this already lol

Umm Franz, have you been hitting the bong again?

BTW I do plan on this, and have for a while, I just need to find a belt that's close enough.

          HAHA......no.
Though working with parts cleaning chemicals in a closed garage likely isn't good for the ol' brain cells.

I'd just prefer a gear drive if it's possible to make (or a stronger chain drive even). Want to keep the front cover the way it is so I don't HAVE to modify the rest of the accessories.

Timing cover is only 0.176" thick... Which is my biggest concern...

I'm going to let you guys in a little philosophy type idea I use in my shop.

In my shop no one is allowed to use the word "can't" (or the words can not), especially in the sentance: "I can't (do that)". That is a self defeating word that causes you to be beat before you begin.

I see way too much self defeating going on in the world anymore, not just here, but every where.

As much as I'm not a fan of the Star Wars series of movies, Yoda does make a lot of sense, especially with this quote:

Chew on that for a while.

Ok, I just can't leave this one alone. I did find somethin of interest, but it may not pan out. The Sealed Power timing chain (Part Number 222-385) has the following cross reference information:

                  OE Number 10166352
                  OEManufacturer GMC

                  OE Number 53020444
                  OEManufacturer JEEP

Looks like 53020444 is for the 94-98 Jeep 4.0L. Makes me kinda curious about the entire set, although it is a long shot. I know there are Dynagear performance timing sets (or chains) for this engine.
                  Regards,

                  Todd E. Johnson
