Oil cooler hose/fitting

Does anyone know the size of the oil cooler hoses on the DOHC? Also, the size of the pipe fitting in the block for the oil cooler hose? I'm ordering fittings tonight and don't have access to my car.

Yes.
There is a small thread pipe fitting that screws into the water jacket and has some size of hose barb on it. A hose runs from that to the coolant inlet of the oil cooler. The oil cooler has a barb on it for the outlet. A hose runs from there to the return barb on the water pump.

Yeah, that shows one of the hoses and the fitting. Both hoses should be the same size so if you know what size that one hose is that would help.
Anyone without an oil cooler can check what size that fitting is; there is a plug that screws into the water jacket there if you dont have a cooler. I'm guessing 1/4" or 3/8" NPT but I don't know. Can anyone look?

Hmm.. I dont have an oil cooler. IS this just somthing used on the older dohcs?

I'm going out to get the sizes in a few minutes.

Nut on the plug was (with rust) 14.50mm/0.570in. I.d on the hole was 11.25mm/0.442in.

Yeah the oil coolers were only on 91-93 DOHCs.

Thank you for the measurement! If the ID is 0.442" then its a 1/4" NPT thread in the block. I appreciate it!

Finally got to measure the hoses on a car. The hoses seem to be 5/8" ID.
