    3.6l vvt dohc

Anyone in here running the LY7 engine?

I have it in my g6 gxp!
Nice engine but I wish pontiac would of made the move with the new 3.6L direct injection engine!!!

Anyways does anyone know of any modifications around for this engine?
or is it basically spend thousands and have someone make them special for your car?

I read on a forum somewhere that someone was making 600+ whp with the 2.8t version of this motor. So the aftermarket is there. That was in Europe IIRC.

If you want to go turbo, maybe try to find the 2.8T turbo manifolds and see how easily they would fit your car.

What American cars supported a 2.8T? None that I know of? Maybe the Cts?

According to Wikipedia the Saab 9-3 was available in North America and could be had with the 2.8T. I have no idea how common they are though.

If I can find one around here I'll let you know how the turbo manifolds line up!
