DOHC rebuild question

So I'm ooking for an LQ1 for my project and most are well into the 100k mile mark.

So I'll eventually have to rebuild it , so the question is;
is everything available to rebuild these? Cams, pistons bolts, bearings etc?

Some people are telling me the engine is no longer supported and not rebuildable...

cams are not available

pistons, rings, bearings, gaskets, bolts, followers(lifters) and other stuff is available.

i've never heard of anyone wearing out the cam before...or any direct cam probs. somone on here tried runing all exhaust cams.... i think it was sappy not sure how it ended up... but from the looks im sure it ran from what i remember.
