    Coolant leak

My DOHC has sprung a coolant leak. It's dripping right on the AC pulley, looks like it's coming from the water pump. So my question is: Is it usually just the gasket or should I look into changing the whole pump? And what is involved in changing it.

Change the whole pump. It's 20 bucks and it only takes 20 minutes to change it. Most likely your gasket cracked but a new pump never hurts.
I may own a GTO now, but I'm still a 60V6er at heart.

I agree, its around $20 for one with lifetime warranty and it comes with the gasket. The gasket alone will be around $5 so you might as well do the whole pump since you have to get it off anyway.

It looked to be coming just from the gasket, but I replaced the whole pump anyway. Hopefully no more coolant leaks pop up now.
