    Remove/install the power steering pulley

I'm replacing my PS pump and need to swap over the pulley. How do I get it off the old pump?

Have you actually pulled one of these pulleys? It's made of plastic. No place to grab on to. If you've pulled one with the AutoZone tools, I'm there.

autozone or most mechanic shops can do it. i paid the exact same thing to have one swapped. i wish i knew about the tool though so i could swap them anytime.

the tool grabs onto the raised collar around the shaft instead of the outside of the pulley. its like using the back end of a hammer to pry up a nail.
