Autoxray help

Hello all! I have a 95 Monte with a 3.4L dohc. it has been running rough and it started all of a sudden. i hooked it up to my scanner and no codes of course... When the car gets up to running temp the reader says weak cylinder and a 5 below it? i have no idea what this means? Number 5 cylinder seems to be alright. I looked on the xray site it says nothing and nothing in my owners manual. If anyone has any info that would be great. thank you

to be honest i cannot remember. obd1 is not that sophisticated, usually it takes some sort of sensor catastrophy to actually trip a code.

do not hold me to it but perhaps your knock sensor is being set off. anything on the knock strength field?

have any spare sparkplugs laying around? try switching them out, also try switching out your coilpacks. ie switch 1,4 with 2,5 and see if that weak cyl field switches to 4.

that is all i can think of at the moment. sorry i couldn't help more.

I will definatly give that a try i have a spar coil from the guy i got the car from i will swith it and see what happens..thanks for the tip

nothing in the knock field but the coil pac is a good one to try
