I did say to rich didn't I, but thanks for the friggn book O arogant one.

Lock can happen on any engine injected or not... It is less prudent on EFI but can happen and in a different way.

Hence the term I use as Drawback, think of every port like a small carb what do you think will happen runing rich on a hot engine.. Whatever I am done this topic it is going no where fast.

who's being arrogant? i wrote my explanation so anyone who reads it would understand regarless of their level of experience.

do you think the description i gave is inaccurate? not every disagreement is a personal attack, i dont know you, and you dont know me. You may be an engineer for GM, or you may work at Walmart, doesnt matter. Someone asked a question, i gave an answer i thought would be helpfull, and truthfull.

All I am saying that we are talking about a small amount of fuel difference between 170-190, and this topic is being stretched out. More important is the fuel curve.

Since on average most t-stat are not accurate.

A 195 can reach as high as 215 or more..
A 160 can reach 195 or more.
A 180 can reach 200 or more........

If only everyones engine ran perfect then your explanation will hold up, but saddly that is not the case.
