    Are you refering to the "check gauges" light or just the SES light?Do you have an oil pressure gauge or do you have a dummy light for the oil pressure? You may be having an oilling issue.....

        the light that was coming on was for a fact the check engine light wich was not on before i changed the valve cover gaskets and intake gaskets.also their is a oil gauge with the rest of the gauges on the dash not a dummy light.and i was having an oil leak and thats why i had changed all the top end gaskets.
