    5 speed idle

my 5 speed wil not idle below 2500 when its cold, it just started to do this, after its warm it idles about 1500 and sometimes will come down to 1500 at a light, i have put on a new tps and iac , could it be intake gaskets.

Probably intake gaskets like you mentioned or a possible vaccum leak somewhere. I'd check both.

Mine idled at 2500 for a while when I did my headers. It was a large vacuum leak, I had forgot to attach the brake booster line

So check your vacuum lines for sure

yah i went through every vaccum line, its idling even highertoday and its warmer out, if i'm driving and put it in nuetral it will idle high but if i out the clutch init dies to 1000 then jumps back up, whne i stop the idle dies down to about 2500 instead of 3000

Intake gaskets........pretty easy job to do......easier than the pushrods anyways.
