recently relocated the coils to the upper portion on top of the radiator fan. Now I have some random misfires coming from the car.
I spliced all the wiring harness correct, but it is possible to get a misfire with an incorrect splice or better yet, off 2 wires that don't make contact?
One thing I noted that when I put the original wires on the car, it ran a bit better yet the wires were leaking visible and audible current WHILE connected to the coil towers, yet the 8mm taylor wires do not leak current but the car doesnt stay on as long. Wat gives?
When flooring it the car stumbles but gets the full range power uptop.
So in short:
1.) Can the car missfire because of incorrect splice on 5-wire harness or the other 2-wire harnesses that hook up to the ICM?
2.) Do I just need new wires?
3.) What do you think is up with the coil relocation and what should I have looked for?
