O K my car ticks at start up, is that common? and how about the bucking. it only happens when at night or if i drive it for a long distance(30-40 miles). any suggestions? oh yea it's a 1993 lumina z-34

The lifter tick on startup is normal. As for the bucking, do you havfe an auto, or 5 speed? It's sort of common for the manuals, but I don't think so on the autos.-60v6's 2nd Jon M.
