    Water Pump Removal Troubles

My water pump's leaking and I know it's time for replacement. The problem is, I'm having a helluva time getting the bolts off of the pulley without it spinning and causing a headache even with the belt still on. For anyone that's done this, what procedure did you use to get those 4 bolts off to get to the pump?

    Thanks very much....

you need to put a large screwdriver between two bolts to hold the pully in place....

Try a strap wrench. Sears has got them for under 10 bucks.
