    throttle body DIY coolant bypass?

    anyway to seal up the coolant going through the throttle body?

    pics are helpful

    Ps i know this is prolly the most newbie question ever lol

    PPS i kinda broke the top bolt (10mm) of the throttle body by accident i RTVed it but will it leak coolant? half the bolt is still in there and i dont have a tap

    if the bolt is still sticking out the back you could try some vise grips.

    you could use RTV or QuickSteel on the TB port for the coolent. you could also try a small lenght of tube and insert it in the pipe that connects the heater core to the lower intake manifold. on my Z the core i got for my ported manifolds had a crack there... so i just cut that section off and made a direct connection from the line to lower intake manifold.

      best way is to bypass it

                dave even with that adapter, you would need to cut the bottom of the intake arm... might as well cut it and glue in a tube. i used quick steel.

                      why whats so wrong with it? i like it better then the N*'s..... yeah the N* is a bit bigger but they dont have a smooth shape... so the air doesnt transition as smooth.
