i am new to this and have a question on injectors

i am new to this site and have a question about injectors on these 3.4 dohc rumor has it that gm made these engines with 300 horses but the trany would not hold up so they switched the fuel injetors to a smaller one i was told that they had the 4.3 liter injectors in them at first then they put 2.8 ones in them its hard to believe but was just curious

yeah tell me bout it i fig it was bunch of crap but we can always hope right thanks you know of any other mods that can be done
