they are magnaflow tips i got from magnaflow. i order direct. lol from engine to TIPS my system cost me $300. PLUS it was just REDONE for free today because i thought the tips stuck out too far, the pipes and mufflers all hung too low and it would rattle on something at the back.

so to fix this we got rid of the mufflers (basically resonators) and used a normal style, plus brought everything up about 2" closer to the body (making it about 1 - 2" away from it) the tips were brought in a little more, and straighted out. plus i chopped out some of the bumper core and pinch weld at the back there. it was really crimpin my style. ill get you part numbers for the tips if you want. but it will take me a couple days as i need to get the shop that did it to go through their invoices, a month ago! lol

so now its quieter, in every sense. it doesnt sound as loud when i rev it up (im happier) and it doesnt rattle on the hitch or body. plus the bigger mufflers LOOK better IMO. lol im going back on saturday though because the left tip is crooked and doesnt stick out as far as the right one!! hahaha and the car was there till like 6 30 today!!
i was listening to howard stern radio and drinkin a beer in it while they did the pipes! haha most fun ive had in (the front seat of) my car!!

ofcourse this will be a turbo setup, will see. it aint cheap, or i might even go stainless steel factory set up but with better muflers.

You will kill your low end torque (what low end there is anyways) if you run 3". The only reason for doing 3" on a mainly stock DOHC would be A. You are going turbo, or B. Bragging rights. If you have an auto, well you will be doing yourself more harm than good and should consider a good 2 1/2 mandrel bent exhaust instead. You can still get a really good sound out of a setup like this with the right mufflers and resonator.

however i dont have pictures yet, or video of how it sounds. lol later today i suppose.
sounds like a stock setup, my z34 s like that. but imma going with a 3 inch magnaflow from the engine to the cat, and 2-1/4 all the way back. now this aint stock. hehe,
