    build in progress

not really new here, ive read the forums alot but never really posted...just posting pics of my wip, soon to be installing a st3 cam from the store along with pushrods, got headstuds as well....and from the heads on up is ported..ant wait to get to the track, ran a 13.6 with a stock cam and stock 103xxx bottom end...the read mani i made from a 3100 rear and cut the d.p. section out and tried porting it so all the exhaust flow will go to the turbo crossover...enjoy...dont mind the messy engine bay..temporary,enjoy

Overall pics of the whole bay would be cool..

Do you have an intercooler? How much PSI did you run 13.6 on?

the hood is painted now obviously...gotta buff it out, thats the best engine bay pic i got of how it was...the intake mani is bare aluminum with the 3400 grinded off...i was running 6 pounds of boost with an intercooler and "safe" tune

Move the BOV to the pipe right before the TB. That's a better place for it.

          Looks good!

thanks...i cant move the b.o.v. right before the t.b because i gotta have it somwehere before the m.a.f. and theres no room in the engine bay for either of them to go right before the t.b so it would havta all be in the fenderwell..

Ah yeah good point. But closer to the TB is better. Sure you can't find a spot somewhere closer?

not really because the couplers will be too close to the turbo and melt...gonna havta make a 1 off piece to get rid of all of that junk..will probably just move the blowoff valve into the fenderwell before the t.b, think thats the best ill get, i stil gotta figure out too hwo im going to get a big 4in. maf from a ls2 in there, i got a couple of them too, my stocker is starting to max out

Yeah, change the routing from where the pipe comes back from the intercooler. Perhaps have it come up from the fender some how like I've seen some cars do. That will give you some length and room to shove some stuff onto it. Looks like it comes up really close to the turbo as is.

It may better to have it closer to the TB but it doesn't make much difference. I have mine done in the fender where the washer tank should be
