    Compression Check

    How much should a normal 3.1 have? might have bad head gasket, got that tickin sound and antifreeze is brown, and its not the mixture of the green and orange ha

    It needs to be over 100, but some people get between 150-180. The biggest thing to look for is consistency between cylinders. You want all cylinders to be within 5-10% of each other.

        my 3100 had the same brown color,cleaned the raditor out and it was ok for a while,now i have oil in my anti freeze,hoping it is just a lower manifold gskts,the car runs fine so i will keep my fingers crossed
