    New to this..

    Picked up a 1994 GTP for 400bucks..no rust all complete needs a good cleaning and a motor rebuild. Now to rebuild or buy a crate motor..?

          94 GTP would be a 3.4 DOHC.

          FWIW, sometimes you can find a brand new 0 mile crate engine on ebay. One of the guys on here scored one this past winter for $300. Also, welcome to the site

              Well was kinda a pain but pulled motor from the top..4 out of 6 Rod Bearings gone two worn into crankshaft. Now know why she was a knocking...Couple crate 3.4 DOHC on ebay but going rebuild it..I know a great engine builder so should be fine. Will drop cradle to clean and reinstall motor trans will be so much easier..She went almost 200,000 before rebuild.
