My friend put a Gen II in his truck and used a bellhousing with the starter pocket on the wrong side. He just cut out the area needed to clear the starter. He beats on that truck all the time and has never had a problem.

If it comes in a truck it probably doesn't have the best gearing for a car.

Truck T5s also have awful gearing for a car IMO.

Also consider this. If it's a truck transmission it's also possible that putting it in a car would result in a shifter location under the dash.

Are you talking about the Isuzu MUA5? They're pretty bulletproof in the truck application, all my Isuzus over the years have had them. First gear is pretty short in the Trooper and there's a huge gap between 2nd and 3rd.
