    my tail of the dragon vids

    in case you dont know the tail of the dragon is a strech of highway 129 thats VERY curvey and somewhat famous. well im lucky because it happens to be the way to my grandparenst house in NC. i took a few vids just for fun, i wasnt really trying to go fast because it is a w-body and its 450 miles away from home and im not trying to be stuck out there. well ne ways here they are, some are big and some are fairly small. hope you like :biggrin:

    nice road, bet theres some cannonball runs that come thru there. are there a lot of accidents on that road?

      tons of accidents, this is the tree of shame where they put a part from every accident that they can find.

      the motorcycles fly through there so you have to be careful not to hit any of them.

            yep, its deals gap. it seems a little far for a meet but mabey when i get the lumina running good ill feel different about it. it was still fun to go through the curves, the videos dont do justice to how fast it feels to go through those tight turns.

              That would be fun. I'd like to run my Olds through there, as heavy as that car is, it's still kinda fun to run it kinda hard through that kind of stuff.

                Didn't watch the vids, but I've had the thrill of seeing the road from the drivers seat of my Sunbird.

                It is indeed rather crazy! I even have a Deal's Gap T-shirt around here somewhere...

                      didnt know that, may have to look it up. it was really fun though. when i get the motor in and the suspension done im going back for a bit quicker drive.
