time to change the name of my car

I was working on the 1995 Cutlass Supreme and came across this.

I guess instead of calling my car "the rental car" (because it is that shade of teal known as RENTAL CAR GREEN) or "the green car" like I have been, it is now going to be called the green frog (courtesy of Lorenzo).

I don't think there was any glycol in there. The car had been sitting for I don't know how long before I got it. It looked like all that came out was WATER when I startef flushing it.

Haha, I've seen a lot of shit in my days of wrenching and junkyarding but that is a first. That's pretty sweet.

Reminds me of the Mitch Hedberg skit about the frog. haha

yeah. It was pretty cool. I think the best part was my nephew wanting to pry it out with that butter knife. If my mom would not have been there, he probably would have tried too.

yeah. Him mom wants to see the vid. My mother told her about it, and she says it sounds cute.

My nephew will probably end up being a car guy. He loves being out there when I am working on my cars.

He loves picking up stuff I've dropped and saying "look what I found for you".

He definanatly has a lot of curiousity.

Do the kid a favor and teach him. I'm trying to get my 11 year old nephew interested in cars, but he would rather sit around and play video games all day. He did think the whole thing with the ALDL circuit in my car, and me being able to make changes to my chip was cool though. Especially when I showed him the 3d spark table in Tunerpro RT. Then I set my fuel cut off speed at 50, and fuel return at 40, and we went for a ride. He thought that was so cool. Then I made the point if I got pulled over, there is no way the cop could say I was speeding because my car wouldn't go over 50. What sucked was I forgot to change the speed back and took the car down the road the next day for something, lol.

well, my nephew is too young right now. He is just over 3 years old. In time, I will start teaching him. My brother wants to get a car to start learning on, but I already know he is going to get in over his head. My brother (who is 22 and knows NOTHING about working on cars) wants to start out by getting a 70's Corvette that has no engine, and build his own engine for it. I have tried to tell him he needs to start out a little smaller, but what do I know?

If my brother keeps up like this, then my nephew will never learn anything. Once my nephew is old enough to understand that what his dad says, and what I say are not going to be the same, then I will start teaching him.

My brother is going to get WAY in over his head, and I am NOT going to bail him out. I wanted him to start out with getting like a 1991 Cavalier with the 3.1 MPFI to start out with. That is a decent car to start learning on (he does not like W-bodies, but that is because I like W-bodies).
