Best economical OBD scan tool

Hello,

I would appreciate some advice on OBD II scanners for around the 100 dollar range.

I am looking at the Actron CP9175 vs. the Equus 3100.

I don't know which one is "better," but they are both around 100 +/- bucks on Amazon right now. The reviews seem to be ok for both. Thanks for input. Pardon the pun.

Either one will be about the same. You do realize that those do not display live data, right? Those are just code readers and I believe they will show a small amount of freeze frame data(from the time each code is set).

I picked that same one up for $1 + $26 shipping from Hong Kong. It does more then check and clear codes. It gives data readings from sensors as well. The only thing I haven't been able to get it to do is display information from the transmission, like what gear it's in and stuff.
