    3.1 + Boost

I recently encountered a little briefing with someone that says a turbocharged hx35 3.1L (mpfi) with a 260cam attached to a 3 speed in need of attention cannot produce 250Whp due to the current trans problems and I beg to differ.
We went over the data and I dont see how it would be any bit less. The car still drives and pulls pretty hard (not like it use to, but still pretty damn good) .
They offered to wager 50.00 that it don't produce atleast 250
whp on a dyno. If dyno time was that cheap, I would have taken that offer but it's more like STARTING at 125 for 3 pulls and that isn't factoring in me taking the day off, fuel, and any other hassles. I gave them until this Thursday to come up with a better wager to make it more interesting.
Of all cars, it had to be this one LOL.

    What would everyone else think?

How much boost? Head work? Other supporting mods? 12psi and a standard transmission I'd say could go ~270 whp. With a screwed up auto, it might be easy to lose another 20+ in the drivetrain.

      Ok let's understand this!

      A 3.1 that can't breath enough to blow it's nose and a compromised 3t40.

      250 WHP HP?

      Not likely.

Spike 16 hold 15 with no head work. Has a UDP and 3" exhaust. Pretty basic, that is why this topic was started.

Fund the dyno time and you can find out. I personally think it's plausible. I am actually willing to bet a nice fresh trans on it. lol
