Sometimes my car is my bane

Today I took my car in for a coolant flush becuase it's -10C outside plus I didn't have any containers for used coolant. Hood release cable snaps on the mechanic. Would have happened to me so the new one's ordered. While pressure testing the cooling system the mech noticed coolant leaking from the LIM. Just dripping externally but we all know that WILL change. He also noticed an axle seal was leaking. Both axles were replaced 2 months ago, I guess the new seal didn't take.

Looking back it's not all that bad though. The cable and the seal are cheap to fix and the LIM gasket leak just might be the kick in the butt I needed to finally do the full top-end swap.

Hmm. I never replaced my axle seals and swapped CV's, no problems.
