    3.1 engine

    Hello I have a 97 Chvey Malibu and i need to know what's the different between the 97-99 and the 00-03 3100 engine.

      larger 3400 sized ports on the intake manifolds,
      larger intake valve and 3400 spec heads.

          So, with the 00-03 3400 all you get is the larger displacement block and an oil cooler?

              yeah and in most cases No oil cooler... only a few of them have the oil filter adapter oil cooler.
