The only thing I can see that would have done anything is crap sticking to the idlers causing high spots on them stressing the belt with a small contact area. That's the best I can come up with besides a cheap belt that came with the last timing belt kit. Dayco for $24 ftw!-60v6's 2nd Jon M.
