It has been estimated that a baby born in the year 2006 will consume 46,000 pounds of items made of a material very near and dear to our hearts: Steel. A subject near and dear to us all.... but please note that this excellent 45 minute National Geographic video via Youtube is punctuated with four small advertisements; quite tolerable considering the interest and visual value of this show.
