i just washed out the engine bay from when the pan end seal puked. once its dry(85 and not humid today, should be shortly) i can put on the new power steering lines and run the new heater hoses for the 3400 and then drop it in. the dohc had 1/4" to spare pulling it without the trans, between the pulleys and frame rail, to get the flexplate to clear the bellhousing.

ive gotta work this weekend unfortunately.
