    Tonight Only!

Tonight Only! On WWF Pay-Per-View! The Detroit Pistons and The Indiana Pacers! In a no holds barred cage match!.......How disgusting....I'll stick to NASCAR thank-you. Worst the kids will see or hear is some pushing and the word "shit" every now and then.

My opinion is at the very least the main participants ought to be suspended for the rest of the season if not for life.

That was my thought... I think they should just be fired and not allowed to play professionally again. My brother-in-law mentioned, since the fans were also part of the cause, that they should have a temporary ban (1 week?) on having fans even attend the game. Thought that was an interesting idea...

those fans who got hit don't deserve a dime. they shouldn't have been antagonizing artest and throwing things. that piston player shouldn't have been such a drama queen, fouls like that happen in the paint. i've seen worse and yet the player blows it off, but thats pro ball for you.

Id rather watch college ball anyway rather than the NBA. Alls you got there is a bunch of thugs and gang bangers. The commisioner is part of the problem. Remember when that player hit his coach? They suspended him but ended up letting him play?? That fucker ought to have been banned for life.

I have to agree with Crimson Fury. The fans were the antagonists, as far as I am concerned, there shouldn't be alcohol served at these games. Looks to me like someone trying to get a free ride off Artest. Now...as for the guys who got the smackdown on the court, Artest and O'neal were out of hand, the fans had backed off, but the tempers were hot and the fans got hit. On the players side, no fans are supposed to be on the court, especially in a situation like this. Who knows, these guys could have been armed. If I remember correctly, there is a disclaimeron the ticket that says that fans are to stay off the court and and are also not allowedto sue in case off an accidental injury. They guy who threw the cup of beer got what he deserved, and should get a lifetime ban from the Palace. mopowr79

theres no NHL on tv for people to see fights so i guess the NBA decided to fill that void. big deal.
