95 Z34

my 95 Z34 dies as soon as i turn my headlights on...puta new battery in it and it still died,so put a new Atl.in it and it still dies...does any body know what the hell is going on with it....let me know asap ..im stuck

Both alt and batt are new you say? Did you have both new components tested? It's possible you got a(nother) bad batt and/or alt. Also, the wiring to the alt was hooked up upon install right? Belt tight?

i guess,had to have it done at a shop...we got 12 inches of snow here,and i got a go cart apart in my grage

did you check all your fuses?

i think if it was my fuse, it wouldn't run at all.but i'll check them...my Monte runs fine untill i have to use the headlights,as soon as i turn them on my car dies...turn the key and it just clicks.if i wait a min. or two it will start right back up

Start with the simple stuff first. Replace the battery cables. They do go bad.
