Dude, you can put music on your ipod from what ever source, itunes, ripped CD, Napster, some people even rip their tapes onto computer then to ipod.
If you BUY songs from itunes I think you can put it on like 3 different ipods or something, but their must be a way around that.
I tunes has mucho music to select from....
I used to download songs and software, but since I have a good job, I always buy software to support the Apple programmers, and my wife buys songs from itunes. I have too much music as it is.....
plus, illegal, and unsupported software sucks, but for my PC I may still occasionally rip a copy from friends.
For me.....
New upcomming bands, I will usually buy music if I really like it.

now what about limewire? they have tons of music (not any I'm looking for) but tons of the more popular bands. you can pay for the service and they seem to be under the copyright spotlight, unlike napster.I wish 10% of the people on the road knew how to drive
