this may be a stupid question but are the prndl lights supposed to light up because at night there very hard to see and sometimes i get confused while messing with the shifter and it just seems out of place for there to be no lights.

There is a light bulb under the shift panel.Not sure if you can access
the bulb by removing the panel, you might have to take the console
out to get to it(easy to do). Hope this helps.
