    OoOoOoOopsies

    so im working on my 93 gp drivers side door, putting the little plastic clip back on the lock lever/rod, and i noticed the seat belt retension mechanism didnt pull the seat belt all the way into the door... ok easy fix, just gotta clean it/adjust it.......

    as i take off the little red cap on the side....
    i hear this god awefull sound that i know all too well,

      fack, i cant figure it out...

      the spring doesnt make sense, one end winds up one way and the other end, winds the other way...
      the outside is normal, were it hooks into the lid, but the inside where it should go into the center shaft with the slot in it is backwards....
      this sucks, id take apart the other side but im sure it would do the same thing lol

      i tried so many ways and it doesnt have any spring action lol

      unless.... oh i just got an idea

        i figured it out, its backwards, its wound against the natural bend of the spring, inside the cap against it... wierd shit lol
        got it working, but i got greedy and wanted it tighter.. then she srung again
        tomorrows another day :P
