What does the in/ex-ducer measure, if you don't mind my asking
.

seeing how i'm not an expert when it comes to turbos: inducer/exducer means exhaust and intake turbine blades, right?
and what all will i have to take apart/reassemble if anything at all? and good numbers for how much i will have to torque the bolts to?

there are 6 bolts on the back of the compressor cover(cold side) u take those off and the cover will lift off exsposing the compressor wheel.u measure across the small side then the large part of the blades.(top/bottom)
to reaseemble just gently place the cover back on,as far as tq specs i always just snuged my bolts up with a reg wrenchsigpic

even though its not the right one its still good for 475ish hpLast edited by boostedrs; 06-11-2007, 06:55 PM.sigpic

(2.075*2.075)/(2.995*2.995)=(4.305625)/(8.970025)=48 trimOriginally posted by boostedrs View Postits a 50 trim those bastards switch up all there shit again,

Kind of like our turbos were supposed to be 57 trim? I'll have to look at my pics to remember the exact measurements on mine, but it was closer to 47 or 48, not 57. (that's why I compare it to the 46).

EDIT: just looked again and the ind/exd measured 1.99 and 2.99 respectively.
This would equate to:
(1.99*1.99)/(2.99*2.99)(*100)=(3.9601)/(8.9401)(*100)=44.26

not sure if this matters but i went ahead and checked the exhaust to and came up with 2.295 and 2.905 but with an odd number of blades it might be a little off. i'll be sending them some e-mails real soon...

well it was actually kind of fast but here is the response i got:
Hi, sorry about the inconvenience. could you describe the turbocharge you received a little bit, are there any tags on compressor wheel?
we might have sent the T3/t4 turbo to you.
please let me know,
we will send you the return label that you dont have to pay for the shipping.
thanks
what should i tell them? that even though it says A/R.70 right on the cold side that it "might" be a t3/t4?Last edited by robertisaar; 06-12-2007, 01:48 PM.
