there is actually a lot of stuff you can do to it, I have seen his tranny and engine, they are sweet, but i can't afford them......

I only picked up the whipple and flanges, my La1 will be lightly built and I will have a 65hd tranny swap....

and yes it will be fun, I would like to see consistent 12s at bandimere (5800ft)

Ok, so i don't have everything exactly but,


282 getreg
close ratio gears (not sure exactly because the tranny shop has the build sheet)
fully cryo hardened (output shafter, gears, LSD, everything!!)
very rare gleason/torsen lsd
94 case with internal slave cylinder
4puck ceramic clutch

Whole tranny was built to handle 500whp daily driven......

the gears are probably q4 gears, i've got some w41's with a jbody 5th pressed on an i love it lol. they keep the engine in the powerband very nicely. i've never heard of that LSD though, good score i'm sure.

Got any pics of the whipple unit? Is it mounting in the same manner as the E/M kit?

Not on hand but I will have them probably this weekend, at least of the unit, I won't have any full mounted shots for a couple months as my motor is still in pieces......and yes it will mount similar to the eaton, hence the custom shaft I am having made....
