    Supercharger Q

Would there be an advantage to using a spline adapter connected directly to the crank (as opposed to belts and pulleys) to connect a centrifugal supercharger?

    RE: Supercharger Q

It wont work right. You need to overdrive a centrifugal blower, splined to the crankshafy would yeild and 1:1 ratio.
Only thing that has been done in the past that resembles your idea is a potvin drive for gmc 71 series blowers.

That's primarily where I got the idea from the potvin blowers.

how do you mean by "it won't work right"? Not enough revs?

exactly. to make sufficeint boost, blowers must be overdriven.

Now there's an idea! Just like the Rolls-Royce Merlin V12.
