      Don't you think you might want to consider remaping the timing for retarding under boost. It could save your pistons. Just adding fuel with an fmu is only part of the problem but the computer is going to drop that back and lean it out. Timing is also an issue.

        I beg to differ...while I agree timing is an issue, this can be addressed with high oct. fuel and resisting going over a set pressure ratio...determined by CR, compressor efficiency etc, etc!!
        The PCM never 'sees' the change in fuel map because the change is happening at WOT (open loop)...
