        When I shipped a 3500 short block, I used uship. All I did was put it on a pallet and wrap it in palstic. The guy who hauled it for me was hauling a farm tractor on a 5th wheel attached to an F350. We just lifted the pallet onto an open spot on the trailer, and he strapped it down. He came to my house to pick it up and everything. All I did was pay him the negotiated shipping fee, which was reimburssed by the buyer of the short block. So it was basically like a pick-up, only the person picking it up hauled it to the buy.

                        You should REALLY consider shipping. This is a very good deal of a transmission. I too would be up to buy it. Heck if you were 2 states away I'd come get it...but 4....I can't do.
