Sounds reasonable. You don't plan on getting rid of for a while? Nothing is for sure, just figuring out what I want to do with my project car.1995 Grand Am GT

First person that give me cash for it gets it. But I would hope someone gets it who would appreciate the gearing.

Its not much differant, only about 500 rpm or 2.5mph lower for first. Second is 4.4, third 6.5, forth where it really makes a differance is 18.8 and fifth 27.8 lower. Top speed is about 122 to 133 depending on rpm you can or want to turn. I could only turn about 5700 in fifth. Above numebrs are for 5500 and a 225/50/15 (23.8dir) tire. I would generaly shift from first about 6000, 5500 for 2 and third, fourth 6000 with the stock gearing. But with the better forth and fifth I could shift at 5500 from forth.

Dumping the clutch is not a good measure of traction or power. But a good suspension set up (and tires) does wonders for hooking up. The car is a whole system. From my experance I would think it take double the power that any of us have to create unfixable traction problems.
