New set of 12 LS-6 beehive valve springs.

New never installed set of 12 factory LS-6 valve springs. A nice easy spring upgrade for the 3100 3400 etc and some others. Here is a link to some info: http://members.shaw.ca/howto/vortec/vspring.htm these springs meaured as follows:

Bottom ID .850
top ID .640
Bottom OD 1.280
Top OD 1.070
Free height 2.110
Measured coil bind is 1.210
Seat pressure at 1.8 install is 90 Pounds
Open pressure at 1.28 is 259 pounds
Good for .520 lift or a little more if installed at 1.8. Install shorter for more seat pressure and less lift.

Nice upgrade for the 3100 series, installed with stock retainer and new valves and never ground seats will give you an install height of 1.7 inches. Grind the valves and seats and you will be close to the 1.8 number.

These are the new production Blue LS-6 springs, the old ones were Yellow.

I have a 98 2.2 s-10, do you know if your springs will work on that 2.2 motor, they are new, never used is that correct. thanks
