Well, last night I retired my '95 Skylark. It is going to the scrap yard in not too long. Does anyone need/want anything off of it? The only real problem that I know of right now is the wheel bearings, the CV joints, and the transmission. Oh, and it has a salvage title (I hit a deer a few months ago).

Make me an offer. The engine has 180,000 miles. The heads have the stamped steel rockers and have not been touched (with the exception of new head gaskets at about 150,000). The intake gaskets went out at around 150,000 miles and I decided to do the head gaskets at the same time just for peace-of-mind.Comment

Korben - I will need to get a hold of the place that will be taking the car and make sure that I can keep all this stuff, but I would imagine it shouldn't be a problem. I'll let you know as soon as I find out more.Comment

I can't gaurantee that the tranny doesn't have issues. It leaks fluid, I do know that. When I parked it, the transmission was running pretty good. It would shift smooth and didn't seem to make any unusual noises. Well, no noises that I could hear over the wheel bearings and CV joints.
